The present temple and installation of Shri Ranchhodraiji therein

The present temple, thus. was constructed by Shri Gopalroa Jagannath Tambwekar in 1772 A.D. at the cost of rupees of one lakh. it was built with brick wall and stone pillars. It is raised on a high plinth 168 feet by 151 feet with twelve stone stgeps on each side and surrounded by a specious courtyard.  It has eight domes and twenty four turrets, the highest of them being 90 feet making it the tallest tamole in the district.  Twenty three turrets are mounted at present with gold leaf sheets. The present tample commitee has decided to mount the remaining twenty-fourth,-the highest turret, with gold leaf sheets. Within the tample court-yard and onboth sides of the main entrance of the tample are two deepmals ( Lamp towers ) whose turrets are also mounted with gold leaf sheets. Though not very rich in carving, the main cupola presents a peculiar type of architecture. though it looks like a Musslim Tajia in appearance, in fact,it gives an appearance of Hemadripanthis temple. The idol is of black sand stone, 3/1/2 feet high by 1/1/2 feet wide and has four hands. It is the image of Trivikram Vishnu Bhagwan. The deity, Lord Shri Ranchhodraiji, was ceremonially installed in this temple with religious rituals by the learned brahmins well-versed in vedas invited from all over india by Shri Gopal Jagannath Tambwekar. Even today, Tambwekar family has got an inscription on stone in Sanskrit language reading as under :-
