The learned author of these Sanskrit verses has refered to the month of Falgun as perfull-moon month, but in Gujarat as per established practice, Gujarati month changes on the 1st day of the bright-half of the month and accordingly, it is the month of Magh (i.e. Vasant Panchami)
Lord Krishna who accompanied Bodana and came to Dakor, came in the form of Emperor (Rajadhiraj). He likewise was seated in a richly carved throne of rose wood in the centre of the sanctum sanctoram. In the year 1950 this throne was replaced by a new one mounted with gold and silver. The front door of the sanctum sanctoram and the two inner doores on its north and south are also mounted with silver sheets.
The inner walls of the main dome have attractive oil paintings depicting incidents from Lord Krishna's life. The inner main dome at the top is decotated with the cuttings of the glasses set in silver plated rings.
Two main gates of the temple on the North and the west have rich and attractive carvings of the deties. They are mounted with attractive metal sheets. They form a source of attraction to the visitors.
Inside the temple on both the sides of the main entrance on the west, you will find two deepmals (Pillars to support lamps on festivals) which add to the decorum of the temple.
